Privacy Notice
This notice explains what Learning Spark Studio stores when you send feedback, vote on priorities, or use the site.
Last updated: 25 August 2026.
Feedback Messages
You may provide a name, email address, role, topic, and message. Name and email are optional. We use this information only to respond and improve Learning Spark Studio resources, events, and research. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
Feedback is available only when secure storage is configured. Stored feedback is reviewed by authorised administrators and is deleted after 12 months unless it remains necessary for an active conversation.
Voting
Voting does not ask for your name or email address. An HTTP-only browser identifier and a salted, one-way hash help keep one active vote per browser and limit automated submissions. We do not store the raw identifier or a free-text response with a vote.
Service providers and analytics
Short-lived rate-limit records may combine a salted browser identifier, user-agent information, and a trusted network address. These records are used only to protect forms and are removed after 48 hours.
Vercel hosts the site and provides privacy-focused Web Analytics. Neon stores feedback and voting data when configured. Public site content is bundled with the application and does not require a separate content service. These providers process the minimum technical data needed to deliver their part of the service.
Neon Managed Better Auth provides authentication for the private staff dashboards. Neon stores staff account and session information in its managed authentication schema only when an authorised administrator signs in; public visitors do not need an account.
Device preferences
The optional OpenDyslexic setting is stored in your browser’s local storage under lss-font-mode. Your explicit English or Welsh choice is stored in the functional lss-locale cookie. These preferences stay on your device and can be changed with the site controls or removed with your browser’s site-data controls.
Your Choices
You can use the public site without an account. You can change the language and optional OpenDyslexic preference through the site controls. To ask about, correct, or delete a feedback message, use the feedback form and include enough detail for us to identify the submission.
